It's written in Swift, uses AppKit for its UI, and requires macOS Catalina or later to run. As a hobbyist music person, having MIDI playback was pretty important to me, and all the other apps that did it were either too expensive, mediocre, or both. When it became clear that Apple would eventually drop 32-bit apps and didn't plan on updating QuickTime Player 7, I started development on this replacement MIDI player. ![]() It's not exactly a new app (it has existed for over 5 years now), but I never really promoted it anywhere, so here goes: ![]()
